About me

My Name Is Nathan Kemp and I am primarily a nature photographer but like most I love to shoot many different subjects. i AM HEAVILY INSPIRED BY MY LOCAL ENVIRONMENT ON THE OLYMPIC PENINSULA. ITS QUITE FULL OF TREES AND A MULTITUDE OF PLANTS AND ANIMALS. THE OLYMPIC MOUNTAIN RANGE never fails to amaze me with its rocky faces in summer and snow caps in winter.

I’ve lived in Kitsap County in Washington for 17 years and most of my photos are from here. I started photography as a way to have a reminder of the wonder I feel when I visit new places and bring myself back to that sense of awe and amazement at seeing something for the first time. I hope to convey these feelings through my photos and prints and to give other people inspiration and to teach them to have the patience to find the wonder that’s all around us.
